Water and Waste Water
Infrastructure Water Supply and Sewerage
WATER IS A FINITE SOURCE AND OUR MOST PRECIOUS NATURAL RESOURCE.
Water is one of the most precious resources for mankind. A life without water is simply impossible, therefore it is our duty to manage and use water responsibly. Sri Lanka has a proud history of managing the water resources such as Parakrama Samudraya and Thisa wewa where river water is rerouted, collected and distributed to the needs of common man. The ancient kings had also shaped massive irrigation projects to distribute water among the towns and to irrigation fields.
Our infrastructure division drives by its main objective of blending our rich culture and expertise with the latest technology and innovation to manage the water sources for the present generations. Kent is in par with the Government’s vision of providing access to pipe water for the entire island by 2025. Kent’s Infrastructure Division involves in execution of large-scale water supply projects including transmission mains, distribution mains and water/sewage treatment plants.
We are experts in HDPE, PVC and DI pipe laying works and fully equipped with required machinery and tools. Kent is also capable of supply and installation of large capacity pumping stations for both portable water and sewage systems.
