- WHAT HAPPENS TO MY RESUME WHEN I SUBMIT IT TO YOUR DATABASE?
- Our HR Departments do their best to review the candidate pool for open positions daily. If the applicants are matching with our requirement, we will send your resume on to the top level managers. If they are interested in you, the HR Department will contact you for a phone interview. If that goes well, you will be invited for in-person interviews to Head Office.
- WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO HEAR FROM YOU?
- If you are the selected candidate you will be invited for an interview as mentioned above. If you haven't heard from us within two weeks, please assume your application has been disqualified at this time. We wish we had the bandwidth to respond to all applicants who are not a match at the time, but time and volume prevent us from doing so. The good news is that your resume is kept on file and it will be reviewed again if better position/opportunity come up.

- It is a big challenge to start a beginner’s career and company will provide full support to obtain experience, develop their skills, knowledge, and attitude as a career development of the candidate.HR Department's dream candidate resume is one that reflects the key skills and qualifications as described in the job description.
- HOW LONG SHOULD MY RESUME BE?
- The purpose of the resume is to get an overall idea about yourself and invite for an interview during the review process. It’s your advertisement for the hiring team. If you submit your resume specific to our job requirement with supporting work history and other qualifications, the length of the resume will not be a significant factor.
- WHAT’S THE INTERVIEW PROCESS?
- Most likely you will have a phone interview with a member of the HR department first, which may be prefaced by few information gathering. If this interview goes well, HR Department will advocate on your behalf for an interview with the senior managers. If the manager approves, you will be invited for an in-person interview with the Department Head. Preliminary Interview goes to determine whether the applicant’s skills and abilities are matching to perform the required job. If you are selected, then you will face an IQ and personality test. Finally the second interview which will be a more in-depth one-on-one interview with the person you originally interviewed together with top management of the company.
- HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PERSONNEL INFORMATION IS SECURED?
- After you submit your resume, basically we pay our first and foremost attention on your skills, experiences and exposure that you have gained in the field of expertise. We will not deeply look into your personal information until selection decision is confirmed. However after you are selected as our ideal candidate, we may contact your non related referees for further information. We assure you to keep your resume details confidentially.
- I’M GRADUATING SOON. HOW DO I SEARCH AND APPLY FOR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT KENT?
- As a graduate student you have two options to find employment opportunities at Kent. You can find us on graduate training programs and career fairs. Alternatively, you can explore and apply for trainee job opportunities relevant to the established vacancies by submitting your resume to our website.
- I DO NOT HAVE A RESUME. IS ONE REQUIRED?
- If you don't have a resume, you can create a profile, even if you're not applying for a specific job. We'll consider you for jobs that match your skills. However, eventually you will need a resume as the introduction of you to the interviewers.

KENT utilizes the behavioral interview technique to evaluate a candidate's experiences and behaviors in order to help determine a candidate’s potential for success.
- Research and find information about the organization before the interview. You can explore background information about the company by going through the company website, annual reports, catalogues, magazines and etc.
- Study your resume and know it well.
- Know the possible job description of the position you have applied for.
- Display your skills with relevant examples
- Honestly assess your skill set and work experience and develop explanations for any weak points. You will be asked questions that will require you to recall a past or current situation that can illustrate your potential to handle a situation that may occur while working at KENT.
