Kent is very excited to be the Plumbing contractor for Altaire Residencies in Colombo 02. Standing 240m tall and two towers of 68 and 70 floors, Altar is one of the iconic projects ongoing in Sri Lanka.
Entire plumbing system for this project will be taken care by Kent. Our scope of work includes, Hot and Cold water system, Sewer and waste water system, the storm water system and installation of all the sanitary ware and accessories. Kent s has been using its previous experience with high rise buildings and plumbing expertise to the smooth progress of the project. To further smoothen this process, Kent developed a 3D plumbing model for this project. This helped us to identify many practical issue would have come during the installations stage, way before actual installation started. All the structural clashes and space problems for installation and the smooth function of the system was discussed with the main contractor and client by carefully studying the 3D model.
Different types of material have been used for this project and they are Pex, PPR, PERT and PE. A single stack PE sewer and waste system is been installed for thi project with a sovent fitting. Anti syphonic rain water system will be used with PE material. Kent team was trained in Italy for this type of systems to maintain the highest quality levels for the project.
